   6 cameras × ~20 GB/day at 4 MP × 14 days ≈ 1.9 TB with 10% headroom (H.265, continuous recording).

4. 1 × 305 m box of Cat6 (outdoor-rated for external runs)

   6 runs × ~25 m average + 15% waste. Keep each run under 100 m.

5. 6 junction boxes and mounts

   Protect connections from rain and give a clean install.

6. Backup power ≈ 67 W load

   Cameras (~7 W each) plus NVR. Use the solar calculator to size an inverter or UPS.

7. Professional installation

   6 cameras with cabling and configuration. Priced per camera after a survey.

Higher resolution helps identification at distance but uses more storage. Night vision range and lens choice depend on each spot.
